Science Fair 2016-2017

 

Dear parents/guardians and students,

 

Your child has been invited to participate in Parkway Montessori Middle School’s 2016-2017 Science Fair. This exciting event encourages students to think and act like young scientists. During the next few weeks your child will have the opportunity to design a science project that uses their scientific inquiry skills to solve a problem or answer a question. We hope you agree that the educational benefits are numerous, as students develop skills in writing, oral presentation, creative thinking, and problem solving.

 

Students participating in this year’s science fair will be given instructions and handouts during school for the various steps of his or her project. The work will be completed either at home or after school. For suggestions on helping your child through this process-from choosing a topic to the final report-see various web sites, such as:
